Bohren Map and Location Guide

Longbranch Town - A small mountain town with not many people. Sleepy, boring, and exactly like every starting town in every Pokemon game. To the east there's a ferry to Snowpeak but it is frequently out of order. There is a route south to Lumeloch.
Lumeloch Town - A lakeside town and home to Professor Willow, the region's foremost pokemon researcher. She sometimes holds giveaways where she will give starting pokemon to trainers just beginning their careers, but she does it on her own schedule. To the west is Tournament Mount, where the Elite Four is located. To the south is Quakeburg City.
Quakeburg City - An underground city, and the home of the Ground-type Quakeburg Gym, leader Shawn. Quakeburg is a mining center, and their primary exports are Moon Stones and fossils. The path between Quakeburg and Sheercliff is underground.
Sheercliff Town - A town built into the cliffs. Home to the Fighting-type Sheercliff Gym, leader Dean. Ladders and fighting-type pokemon with the move Rock Climb are the most frequent modes of transporation. A path across the river to the northwest leads to Dimidium Town.
Dimidium Town - Half of this small town is located in the last cliffs of the mountains, while the other half is on the gently rolling foothills. It is a center for trade and commerce, and many trainers wishing to trade their pokemon congregate here. To the west lies Zenith City, and to the southwest is Crescent Beach City.
Crescent Beach City - The primary resort and recreational town in the Bohren region, home to the Water-type Crescent Beach Gym, leader Skyler. One can find any kind of vacation here, from the towering neon casinos to the floating offshore hotels to small beach cabanas. The gym appears to be in disrepair... if you wish to challenge the leader, you must find them on the beach. To the north is Zenith City, to the west Magnolia Town and to the southwest Wavecrest Town.
Wavecrest Town - A town of little interest beyond being the southernmost location in Bohren. Move tutoring services can be found here in exchange for shards or heart scales. To the north lies Magnolia Town.
Magnolia Town - A forest town, home to the Grass-type Magnolia Town Gym, leader Hazel. Breeders from across the continent to learn from the gym leader about the best ways to breed strong and happy pokemon. Hazel has a habit of giving away a pokemon to new Gym Leaders with a secondary Grass-typing and a primary type matching the gym leader's type. To the northeast lies Swiftriver City, to the north is Pancea Town.
Pancaea Town - The former home of the fourth gym, the Poison-type gym. Pancaea Town houses the region's best experts on status-effect battling and poison-type pokemon. They resent their neighboring Abeo Town to the west for taking their League status away from them. They are nestled in the middle of a large swamp cut by the swiftly-running river delta.
Snowpeak Town - On the far east end of the continent, this icy island houses a small town specializing in fishing and boat building. Across the small inlet lies the Ice-type Snowpeak Gym, leader Dakota. The ferry between the town and the gym is always functioning but the one between the town and the mainland is frequently down for repairs.
Abeo Town - The westernmost point of the continent, and home to the Ghost-type Abeo Town Gym, leader Viktor. The chilling Abeo Town is constantly shrouded in mist and, even more disturbing, all of its residents seem to vanish after nightfall. Where do they go, and were they ever there at all...? Who knows.
Swiftriver City - Home to the Bohren Pokemon Academy, this technologically forward city is on the cutting edge of research, academics and battle strategy. The best of the best come from across the globe to teach and learn at the Academy, and Swiftriver is a popular tourist destination during the annual Gyarados and Milotic migrations. To the east lies Zenith City, and to the northeast is Umberville City.
Zenith City - A city of towering skyscrapers, home to the Flying-type Zenith City Gym, leader Elijah. Flying-type pokemon are heavily favored here. Courier services may be hired here, and flying-type pokemon can be rented for a price to travel across the continent. This makes Zenith City a constantly active center of trade and culture. To the northeast lies Umberville City, and to the east lies Tournament Mount.
Umberville City - A one-great and now seemingly abandoned city in the northern reaches of the continent. The view to the south is blocked by the region's high mountains, to the north lies the frigid sea. The city is only accessible by air or by the narrow inlet of beach that runs alongside the mountains. It is ostensibly home to the Dark-type Umberville City Gym, run by Dist, the Rose. To the southeast lies Tournament Mount.
Tournament Mount - The home of the League, the Elite Four and most of the stationary tournaments held in the Bohren region. Tournament Mount is one of the most high-traffic and highly-populated areas in Bohren the year round. The Ranger Task Force HQ is located here. Trainers and breeders alike must come here to register for licenses and register their endangered and protected pokemon.
Traveling Afield - The Bohren region is home to most of the 495 known species of pokemon, excluding legendaries which remain in their home regions more often than not. These pokemon may be found in areas where the climate suits them the most - for example, one may find Grimer and Roselia in the swamps surrounding Pancea, while Nosepass and Clefairy are native to the underground path between Quakeburg and Sheercliff. At any time, lone trainers may run into the tournament circuit, a large group of trainers and their pokemon who follow the League tournaments across the continent. This procession can easily number in the hundreds, and while all trainers do not travel together, routes where the tournament circuit is currently traveling are usually choked with foot traffic.
