If we want to app from Pokemon, are we only restricted to one version of canon? I ask since you used Ash as an example, and the character I was interested was from the games. On that note, can we app as the protagonists from the games?

Separately, what if we suck at formulating AUs for our characters but still want to play here? Would any of the mods be available to help players out in that respect?
